On 23th June, in order to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the New Fourth Army, the 90th anniversary of the PLA army, social practice team of Jiangsu University Finance and Economics School whose name is "Conceiving honor, remembering strong will" came to Jurong Maoshan New Fourth Army Memorial Hall.There,the members of the team conducted the activity of “Review the revolutionary history and learn the martyrs’ spirit”.
Under the guidance of instructors,the freshmen in class 4 of accounting profession visited the "people of southern Jiangsu against the Japanese invaders," "opening of Maoshan anti-Japanese base areas", "Maoshan New Army from the east to the north", "southern Jiangsu anti-Japanese base’s tough insistence "," the people of southern Jiangsu winning the victory of the anti-Japanese struggle "and several pavilions,the explanation of the lecturers brought back the students recalling the period of the hail of bullets.Students experienced the spirits of martyrs, at the same time, cherishing the current happy life.
Recalling the history,we can understand the present better.Knowing the martyrs’ efforts,we can cherish our life better.The activity has given the students a revolutionary baptism.It will stimulate the students’ enthusiasm to struggle hardly to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Although the history has passed, we must bear in mind this period of history,.Don’t forget the national humiliation, and go farther and farther in the road of Chinese characteristics of socialism which will leave glorious chapters.
