On the evening of May 13, the School of Finance and Economics organized a career planning and guidance training session for all freshmen in the 401 classroom of the main building. The training session was hosted by the 2017th grade counselor Wang Yanhui. Being a 2014th grade counselor, a national assistant career instructor, Han Jihua was the keynote speaker.
Before the meeting, Ms. Wang Yanhui gave a general introduction to the process and background of the career planning competition. Following the theme of “How to write a career plan”, Mr.Han elaborated on three aspects: why should career planning be carried out? The content of career planning and the implementation of career planning. During the period, Mr. Han deeply analyzed the logical system of the professional assessments that students have completed, so that students could understand the necessity of professional assessment and the importance of the professional development. In addition, targeted advice and guidance were given to the preparation of career planning books.
The training coverage was wide, the participation was high, and the pertinence was strong. The students who participated in the training received tangible gains and improvements, so it laid a good foundation for further revision of the career planning book, which was a complete success.
