In order to comprehensively improve the management of international postdoctoral fellows, stimulate their research enthusiasm, and enhance their academic competitiveness, the School of Finance and Economics held a symposium on the management and training of international postdoctoral fellows on the morning of September 27th in Lecture Hall 1301 of Sanjianglou. The purpose of the symposium was to strengthen the exchange and interaction among postdoctoral talents through policy guidance and incentive measures, thereby promoting the enhancement of the college's research level. Wang Xiang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Finance and Economics; Hu Xuhua, Dean; as well as international postdoctoral supervisors and fellows jointly participated in the symposium. The symposium was chaired by Zhu Yanjie from the International Education Office.

First, Zhu Yanjie introduced the relevant regulations concerning the daily management of international postdoctoral fellows and provided a detailed explanation of the latest series of postdoctoral incentive policies implemented by the school. Subsequently, the postdoctoral representatives actively shared their personal progress in scientific research and future work plans, while offering opinions and suggestions on project applications, achievement transformation, and salary guarantees. The attendees listened attentively to the concerns and needs of the postdoctoral fellows, engaging in in-depth exchanges and discussions. The aim is to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by postdoctoral fellows in their research, provide them with more targeted support, and help them achieve significant progress in the field of scientific research.

Finally, Dean Hu Xuhua noted that although the college has attracted a group of outstanding young international postdoctoral scholars, there is still room for improvement in the quality of scientific research achievements, international influence, and interdisciplinary cooperation. While acknowledging the accomplishments of the young postdoctoral scholars, he also emphasized the importance of a sense of urgency, hoping that each postdoctoral fellow will cultivate this mindset, make the most of their time, be bold in exploration, and embody the spirit of scientific research through practical actions.

The successful conclusion of this symposium has injected new vitality and motivation into our postdoctoral research team. In the future, the college will establish a robust guidance and incentive mechanism, create favorable conditions for the growth and development of postdoctoral fellows, and elevate the cultivation of high-level talents to a new level.
