On May 6, 2019, at the invitation of the School of Finance and Economics, Professor Peter Carey of the University of Deacon, Australia, held an academic lecture in the conference room of the School of Finance and Economics entitled "Norms and Significance of Integrative Reporting in Corporate Finance". The lecture was hosted by Professor Kong Yusheng, dean of the School of Finance and Economics. The lecture was attended by teachers, postgraduates and foreign students of the School of Finance and Economics, and they had a warm discussion and exchange with Professor Peter Carey.
Professor Peter first talked about the advantages and disadvantages of traditional financial reports, and then introduced the topic of Integrated Report on the basis of analyzing the disadvantages of traditional financial reports. Dicken University has set up a special research institute for integrated financial reporting.
The lecture has of positive significance to further strengthen international exchange and cooperation and expand the international vision of teachers and students for the School of Finance and Economics.
