On May 10, 2019, Professor Yan Jinyue, a well-known expert in the field of international energy, gave a special academic lecture entitled "Energy transformation needs cross-border research and innovation" in the conference room of the School of Finance and Economics. The lecture was hosted by Professor Zhang Jijian, Vice President of Jiangsu University. Teachers and students from School of Finance and Economics, School of management and School of Science attended the lecture and had a warm exchange with Professor Yan.

In the lecture, Professor Yan Jinyue pointed out that energy transformation involves resources, technology, market, investment and other fields, and needs to carry out cross-border research, such as energy production and consumption innovation, energy digitalization, energy prices and costs. Through cross-border research, we can further expand the field of energy research and promote the cross-integration of discipline research.
