On the afternoon of April 30, the Department of international trade held a special lecture on "international trade professional English learning and cross-cultural communication." Wang Weidong, director of the Department of International Trade, associate professors Yang Lili and Nana, gave explanations and guidance. More than 80 students of international trade major 2020 listened to the lecture.

Professor Yang Lili introduced the importance of English in spreading the Chinese voice and foreign economic and trade exchanges through short videos, examples, and on-site exhibitions to encourage students to learn English well and master cross-cultural communication skills. Professor Yang also answered the questions raised by the students. At the end of the activity, Nana introduced some targeted methods according to the common problems in students' English listening and speaking and recommended English learning apps. Nana selected students on-site for English dialogue practice and guidance in the interactive session.
