On June 9, the school of Finance and Economics held a lecture on the "Wukesong forum" in 1301, Sanjiang building. The keynote speaker was Yang Qiuju, a professor from the International Trade Department of the School of Finance and Economics, with the theme of "crisis and rescue in cross-border capital flows." Teachers and students of the Department of International Trade and representatives of some graduate students listened to the lecture.
Dr. Yang Qiuju first conducted a case study of the Asian financial crisis at the end of the last century and the Greek debt crisis at the beginning of this century. Then, it uses the economic model to explain the foreign exchange reserves, bilateral currency swaps, and liquidity crisis. The present students interacted and exchanged with Dr. Yang on relevant issues of concern.
