In order to further promote folk culture, experience traditional customs, and deepen the love and recognition of international students for Chinese traditional culture, the School of Finance and Economics held a joint Dragon Boat Festival for Chinese and international students in the faculty restaurant on June 11.
More than 30 students from Zambia, Nigeria, Congo, and other countries participated. The activity began with describing the customs and culture of the Dragon Boat Festival, followed by the experience of making zongzi. Under the guidance of the canteen staff, Chinese and international students have mastered a series of movements such as stroking leaves, filling rice, sealing and binding wires, and weaving sachets. This activity highlights the charm of excellent Chinese traditional culture and promotes the integration of Chinese and international students.
