About the program

The authorized point of master of international business (MIB) degree of Jiangsu University was dynamically adjusted and added in November 2015, and the first enrollment since September 2017. The degree authorization point is based on the demand for international business talents in the Yangtze River Delta region's open economic development and the "one belt and one way" construction, so as to train applied, compound and professional senior professionals who are suitable for international business operation and management of foreign-related enterprises, government departments, social organizations and economic and industrial departments. At present, there are 32 full-time teachers, 96.9% of them are teachers with the title of associate senior or above, 87.5% of them are teachers with doctorate degree and 65.6% of them are teachers with overseas study experience, 19 in school tutors, 33 out of school enterprise tutors, and 93 in school students.
Based on the four training and research directions of international trade practice, international business marketing, operation and management of multinational companies, international investment and financing and management, this degree has gradually formed research advantages and characteristics in the fields of new trade barriers and supply chain management, international market target marketing strategy, capital flow and transnational operation strategy, Internet Finance and transnational merger and acquisition of financial industry. Based on overseas visits and exchanges, overseas experts offering special lectures, Chinese and foreign postgraduate academic forums, international cooperation training, and "international education and Industry Alliance" such as "one belt and one road", the two way international exchange mechanism is formed. Relying on the advantages of three-dimensional platform resources, such as the "13th five year plan" key cultivation discipline of Jiangsu Province, the key research base of philosophy and social sciences of Jiangsu Province, the school's Industrial Economic Research Institute, the college's experimental center, and the international business simulation laboratory, to meet the needs of research and practice of complex international business problems.
In the process of talent cultivation, based on the combination of "in class + out of class + out of school" three scenarios, "learning", "practice" and "use" three levels of interaction, to promote the collaborative improvement of students' professional knowledge and skills, through "special discussion + academic forum + project research + competition participation" and other strengthening practical application innovation training, to enhance students' innovation awareness and ability. MIB students in the University have successively won various awards and honors, such as science and technology award of China Business Federation, innovation and entrepreneurship elite challenge organized by education index Committee, National Futures Trading competition, entrepreneurship competition of university students in Jiangsu Province, etc.
